2. What do you want people to describe about you?
3. How have you progressed with your Behavioral Ecology project? Why do you feel that it is important?

  1. Hi Emily!

My name is Julia and I would love to answer the questions you asked.
    1. I'm not sure exactly what job I want to have when I grow up but I am very interested in science (especially biology and chemistry) and I love music (I play the acoustic bass) so maybe I will be either a scientist or a musician. What about you? What is your favorite subject in school?
    2. I'm not sure I understand your question here fully. If you could clarify what you mean I would be happy to answer it though!
    3. My behavioral ecology project went really well I think. I was looking at the red earthworms that inhabit my garden and did an experiment looking at the worms' preferences with regards to the age of banana peels they ate. I think this project is important because it gives us a chance to look deeply at one organism that we might not know a lot about. I have never gotten the chance to look so thoroughly at one creature so it was a really fun project for me. What animal are you looking at? Are you still working on your project?

I look forward to hearing your responses! - Julia

  2. Hi Emily!

My name is Allie and I am 15 years old

    1. I really love science and anything to do with the environment and animals. My ideal profession would be an animal conservationist or any job where I would get to travel to other parts of the world
    2. I've never really thought about how I want people to describe me. But, I would hope people think I am nice and trustworthy
    3. I think my experiment went pretty well. For my project I studied crows which are a type of bird near my house. I studied their calls and tested how they respond to computer automated calls. It was really interesting to look in-depth at one certain animal that is always in my life and learn how they communicate with one another.

What do you want to be when you are older?
What are your interests outside of school?
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
