Through this blog, students from Charles Mbuto's science class at Daraja Academy in Nanuyki, Kenya and Mark Stefanski's Advanced Biology sections at Marin Academy in San Rafael, CA can interact and share thoughts and ideas as they study the natural world. As you observe and experiment with the behavior of your chosen species, feel free to post any and all of your techniques, methods, problems, successes, and theories. When you love mother nature, she loves you in return!
Hi Everlyne!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Emily, and I am your partner!
I'd love to answer your questions, here are my responses:
1. I love many things, but I think I love my family and friends the most. I am always very happy when I get to spend time with them.
2. I don't have a favorite food, but something I like very much is chocolate!
3. The animal I observed was the ant. There are many ants living beneath a tree by my house, so it was very easy to study them. I used to be very afraid of insects (especially small ones like ants), but studying them helped me to get rid of my fear. I realized they are extremely beautiful and complex creatures that are very fun to watch!
I have some questions for you too:
1. What is the weather like where you live?
2. What animal did you study? Did you enjoy observing it?
3. What is your favorite thing to study in school?
Thanks Everlyne! Hope you are doing great!
