Through this blog, students from Charles Mbuto's science class at Daraja Academy in Nanuyki, Kenya and Mark Stefanski's Advanced Biology sections at Marin Academy in San Rafael, CA can interact and share thoughts and ideas as they study the natural world. As you observe and experiment with the behavior of your chosen species, feel free to post any and all of your techniques, methods, problems, successes, and theories. When you love mother nature, she loves you in return!
Hi Marylene!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Julie and I'm 16 years old. Currently, I am a junior in high school (3rd year of high school/11th grade). Recently, I have taken an interest to neuroscience and psychology, so in the future, I would love to do something that involves researching the brain or helping others who have certain brain conditions. Outside of school, I enjoy playing piano, violin, swimming, skiing, and spending time with friends.
I hope this helped you learn a little about me -- now, what about you? What is your favorite subject in school? Your favorite hobby? How does your school system work in Kenya? What do you spend time doing during your breaks from school?
Thanks!
~Julie
